Living

With breathtaking views or a more intimate feel on offer, the choice is yours when picking a room. Whether your interests are business, recreation, or a little bit of both, the Summit Hotel is sure to provide the very best in accommodation.

Vernacular design is the theme here, as the layout of the hotel has been heavily influenced by Nepali culture. The same can be said of the furniture, as all of it is hand crafted locally. A lush garden spreads between the buildings, heightening the sense of peace and relaxation. For the ideal contrast to the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu City, look no further than the Summit Hotel.

Clean, quiet and great service

The Summit has what almost no other places in Nepal do: clean rooms, quiet compound, and great service.
The breakfast is amazing, and the seating area outside is something you truly appreciate when you’ve been in the country for a while.
The hotel is situated a bit higher up than downtown, so you’re more or less over the smog.
The location is really good too, with lots of great restaurants in walking distance – not to mention Patan Durbar Square.
My only critique is that the food (besides breakfast) is not very exciting or particularly tasty – not for the price they take for it! Also the service in the restaurant doesn’t live up to the the standard of the rest of the hotel: it is ridiculously slow, and unorganized.
